Calculation pay during annual leave section 13 Agenda Terms & Conditions

As we know pay during annual leave will include regular paid supplements including recruitment and retention premia payments for work outside normal working hours and high cost area supplements pay is calculated on the basis of what the individual staff member would have received had he /she been at work.

It is Unison’s view members are not receiving the correct entitlement for working unsocial hours as many Managers are not allocating staff correctly to the duty rota as what the staff member would have worked if not on annual leave and this information is passed on to Payroll prior to close down. This would mean all staff members being treated fairly and equally in the allocation of unsocial hours / Bank holiday working.

It is also very important Unison members have at least a six weeks predicted rota as agreed in 2008 by the former Senior Management team NTW.

When Unison members are on sick leave average unsocial hour payments will automatically be paid based on a 3 month average unsocial hours payments.
